Jim Romberg

Jim Romberg has been working with raku ceramics for over forty years and recently curated a traveling international exhibition of contemporary raku ceramics entitled: Raku: Origins, Impact and Contemporary Expression.

Known for his painterly sculpture pieces Romberg has developed an integration of surface, color, and raku effects that present a very contemporary expression of an age old aesthetic of ceramics. Presenting work that is an interplay of sculpture and painting.
