Gabriela Ibarra wanted to be an artist from an early age; encouraged by teachers and family, she obtained her degree in fine art. In college she pursued a rich and varied course of study, including photography, printmaking, drawing and painting.

Gabriela's mixed media still lifes and figurative works have been influenced by her extensive travels through Latin America.
