Viewing the works of Taos artist, Haroldine Howell, one is very quickly impressed with a sense of the transcendent beauty that effuses from the artist. She is able not only to see beyond the veil but also to translate that essence to canvas, “stripped of all its evils”. For the better part of three decades, Haroldine Howell has advanced this positive potential of her art. “My art is an expression of the fires that burn deep within my soul. It is that soul that guides the hands that apply the medium.”
