Carla Anglada

After receiving her BFA from Oklahoma City University, Carla Anglada moved to Taos, NM where she took graduate courses at UNM and studied at the Taos Institute of Art and the Fechin Institute. Carla has studied with a number of living masters, including David Leffel, Michelle Cooke, Sherrie McGraw and forensic artist, Betty Pat Gatiff. For two years she worked exclusively with Louis Tedesco, where she studied the Chiaroscuro method of painting used by Rembrandt, Caravaggio and many other masters from that era. She gained her inspiration from the Dutch masters and women artists of the past, such as Artemesia Gentileschi and Anne Vallayer-Coster.

Carla's work can be found in many private collections through out the country.
