Barbara Bartels - Capturing the Spirit of Time and Place

Barbara is an award winning, professional oil painter and master instructor who paints in the Euro - American tradition "en plein aire".
She is known for her colorful landscapes and intimate floral gardens. Her paintings capture the very heart of time and place and reflect her love of subjects known mostly to the Southwest.

She teaches 'on-going' classes and workshops for galleries, art leagues, and museums throughout the country. You will often see her around Taos painting a myriad of subjects.
